MHz Worldview Now Available on AudioNow

FALLS CHURCH, VA – Live audio of the national MHz Worldview channel is now available to viewers and new listeners via cell phone on the AudioNow service nationwide.

MHz Networks has teamed up with AudioNow for this innovative new service that lets listeners on any mobile phone access the station’s global news and entertainment programming simply calling from any mobile phone.  Listeners can access MHz global news and more by calling 712-432-3270.

"We are excited to share this news with our listeners, who have been waiting for this new way of listening to MHz Networks.” said Frederick Thomas, Chief Executive of MHz Networks.

“With an unreplicated programming line-up featuring the most premier of international news sources in English, MHz Networks is excited to continue our distribution on the innovative AudioNow product, allowing us to reach the majority of the market that rely on standard mobile phones.”

AudioNow is the leading provider of mobile phone radio distribution in North America. It uses proprietary, “HD” voice architecture, and patent-pending “single-stream” technology that allows any fixed or mobile phone to access live and pre-recorded audio programming without any downloads across all mobile platforms while lowering bandwidth costs for broadcasters.

A recent NYT report noted that over 80% of mobile phone listeners do not access data services and rely on standard mobile phones. The venture-backed company's focus is to expand the free and open distribution of radio to any mobile device because a public with easier access to more information is empowered to make better choices. AudioNow's listener base is approaching 10 million minutes monthly.
